Resolved Question: What's your opinion of...?
My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship. He lives in Nevada and I'm 1600 miles away in Kansas. We have been dating for 3 years next week and after I finish my senior year in college I'm moving out to be with him permanently. Now here's the question, we have been discussing the idea of a "freebie." Basically he and I have only had 2 sexual partners, and we are both worried about getting married and then regretting that we never had sex with anyone else. So we are debating the idea of one "freebie" where I can have sex with another man and he can be with another lady, purely as a learning experience. Is this a good idea? Or will it ruin our relationship?

Resolved Question: Relationship?
My ex partner & I have been living apart for almost a year now. We were trying to receive back together, but are having a difficult time of it because of her wanting to keep her ex in the picture. She is always calling the ex & seeing the ex whenever possible. The ex lives in Kansas. The ex even gives her money. She never tells me when she does this. She said because she doesn't like my reaction to it, but they are only friends and she loves me. Why does she have to have a relationship with her ex if I feel threathened by it. I don't know her ex & she makes it a point that we do not meet or talk to one another. This does not make since to me. I have never heard of anyone always calling their ex & making it a point to go look them whenever they go to Kansas, plus the ex gives her money. How do you work things out to receive back together if this ex is always in the pictures. The ex even writes her letters & sends them to Texas. I don't even know what they say.

Resolved Question: how airbus gain in market share affect the legitimacy of claims for subsidies?
in december 2003, Boeing announced it would go ahead with the development of its latest commercial jetliner, the 7E7, which Boeing will position against Airbus's popular A330 aircraft. The "E" in the Boeing 7E7 stands for 'efficient.' By making extensive use of new composite and engine technology, Boeing hopes to reduce the aircraft's operating costs by as much as 20 percent compared to a traditional design. If it is successful, this will make the plane a potent competitor against the best-selling A330. however, the 7E7, now renamed the 787, is a risky project for Boeing. The aircraft will cost about $7 billion to develop, according to industry estimates, and demand is uncertain. To share the costs and risks of development Boeing has taken on several partners who will help to design and build the 787. Most important among these are a trio of three Japanese companies, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and Fuji Heavy Industries. Collectively, these three companies will probably build as much as 35 percent of the 787 by value, including parts of the fuselage, wings, and landing gear. They will boat the finished components to everett, Washington, for final assembly. These three companies are longtime Boeing partners. They contributed about 21 percent by value to Boeing's last new jetliner, the Boeing 777. Although there has been a long history of development subsidies in the commercial aerospace industry, a 1992 agreement between Boeing and Airbus limits the state aid either company can receive from their respective governments. Airbus, now a private company, is limited to repayable launch aid that must not exceed one-third of the development costs of a new aircraft. The launch aid has to be repaid only if aircraft sales are high enough for Airbus to turn a profit on the investment in a new plane. As for Boeing, indirect aid from U.S. government agencies such as R&D contracts from the Pentagon and NASA are capped at 4 percent of its total revenues. It is unclear if the 1992 agreement extends to other parties in the projects. The Japenese Aircraft Development Corporation, an association of Japanese aircraft makers, has asked the Japanese government for help with the 787 project. The country's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry has submitted a budget request that would make the 787 a "national project. Newspaper reports put the request at about $1.5 billion. Upon hearing this, Airbus officials were quick to claim that the arrangement could violate several international agreements, including a 1994 WTO prohibition against subsidies that can hurt competitors. Behind the scenes, Airbus executives started to urge the European Union to look at the issue and possibly file a case on their behalf. They also noted that Boeing received aid from the states of Washington and Kansas, where its factories are located, and that also constitutes an unfair subsidy that was outside the scope of the 1992 agreement. In mid-2004, the issue became even more contentious when the u.s. government demanded an end to airbus's launch aid. airbus had already been granted lans of 3.7 billion to develop its latest aircraft, the A380 super-jumbo, but what really got attention in america were signs from airbus that it would also build a direct competitor to the 787, the A350, and ask for launch aid to help cover the development costs of that plane. Estimates suggested the lunch aid for the A350 could total $1.3 billion. furthermore, in 2004 airbus surpassed boeing in global market share. American officials felt that given the strength of the company, subsidies were no longer appropriate. In tardy 2004, the EU and U.S. government entered into negotiations to try to resolve the dispute, but talks ended in March 2005 with no agreement. The dispute now goes to the World Trade Organization, which must rule on the legality of the various subsidies. Meanwhile, Boeing is starting to pile up orders for the 787, and industry observers speculate that the longer launch aid for an airbus competitor is stalled in legal limbo, the less likely Airbus will be to go ahead with the plane.

Resolved Question: abortion dilemna ????
I've always thought that abortion is an issue that should be between the lady and her husband/partner. My wife is currently pregnant in her 3rd trimester with our first baby. This has caused me to re-examine my feelings. Why shouldn't the government have the right to restrict "tardy-term" abortions. Our doctor said the baby develops enough to experience sensation around the start of the 6th month. Now I hear that an abortion doctor in Kansas is performing tardy term abortions (3rd trimester) because the mom is depressed ? I know our baby was alive at conception. I heard her heartbeat when she was 10 weeks old. I can't any longer agree that tardy term abortions should be legal just to help the mom's depression. I think it should be life threatening situations only. What do you think ?

Resolved Question: What do you think of my 2008 nfl mock draft?
1. Miami Dolphins - Chris Long DE, Virginia - Parcells will want a player to start building his team around and Chris Long is the whole package. He's a hardworker, with a non-cease motor, who can receive to the QB as well as cease the run. 2. St. Louis Rams - Glenn Dorsey DT, LSU - Dorsey should fit into St. Louis like a glove. Move Adam Carricker back to his original position and you have a mean DL. 3. Atlanta Falcons - Jake Long OT, Michigan - Atlanta could definitely use some OL help. Long would be a nice addition to a needy OL and should give the QB protection. 4. Oakland Raiders - Darren McFadden RB, Arkansas - McFadden is just what Al Davis dreams of at night. Even though they resigned Fargas and have Rhodes, Jordan, and Bush, they still can't pass up a specimen like McFadden. Gholston could be a possibility. 5. Kansas City Chiefs - Jeff Otah OT, Pitt - Does Kansas City reach for a much needed OT or do they take the best player available? I think that they have too much of a need for an OL to not take one. Otah is the pick. 6. New York Jets - Vernon Gholston DE, Ohio State - The Jets filled most of their glaring needs in FA, so where do they go in the draft? While I would adore for them to receive McFadden, I just don't look him falling past Oakland. Vernon Gholston would add a lot more of a pass rush that Pace already gives. This could be a great addition for the Jets. 7. New England Patriots - Leodis McKelvin CB, Troy (Trade down) - New England still needs help in the secondary, even with the signing of Fernando Bryant. However, I believe they will find a trading partner who wants Sedrick Ellis. If they can't trade out of the spot, I think they go with McKelvin. 8. Baltimore Ravens - Matt Ryan QB, BC - What else could Baltimore possibly wish for than for Matt Ryan to fall into their laps? Perfect situation for the Ravens. 9. Cincinnati Bengals - Sedrick Ellis DT, USC - Whether they trade up or stay where they are, I believe they will receive Ellis. If not Ellis, then definitely Keith Rivers. 10. New Orleans Saints - Keith Rivers LB, USC - The Saints don't really have too many glaring needs. They signed Randall Gay and have Mike McKenzie and Jason David. Why not grab the best LB available for the future? 11. Buffalo Bills - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB, Tennessee State - The Bills could take a WR here, but there isn't any WR really worth taking at 11. They could definitley add another CB, and why not one of the most athletic in the draft in DRC? 12. Denver Broncos - Ryan Clady OT, Boise St. - It's pretty clear the Broncos need an OT, WR, and LB. I don't look them taking a WR this early and since Keith Rivers is gone, they go with Clady. 13. Carolina Panthers - Derrick Harvey DE, Florida - The Panthers have a lot of needs. I could definitely look them taking Rashard Mendenhall, but they really need a DE and Harvey is a good one. 14. Chicago Bears - Chris Williams OT, Vanderbilt - Oh the Chicago Bears. What is the deal with them? Resigning Rex Grossman? They are shot on WR after losing Berrian, need another QB, need a lot of OL help, and need secondary help. Chris Williams is still there and you need an OL after losing Fred Miller and Reuben Brown. 15. Detroit Lions - Rashard Mendenhall RB, Illinois - While they could very well take Mike Jenkins or Aquib Talib, and do need to replace Damien Woody even though their are no more OL worth taking here, they did sign Dwight Smith and Brian Kelly, so why not take the best RB available? 16. Arizona Cardinals - Mike Jenkins CB, USF - The signing of Travis Laboy fills the need at DE. They still need help in that secondary. Mike Jenkins was once considered the best CB in the draft. They luck out with this pick. 17. Minnesota Vikings - Phillip Merling DE, Clemson - While Derrick Harvey could slip to the Vikings, I don't look it happening. The Vikes could be scared by the surgery Merling got to fix a sports hernia, but grab him anyway. 18. Houston Texans - Jonathan Stewart RB, Oregon - I was so tempted to put Godser Cherilus here, but they are bone dry at RB. Ahman Green is getting older and Darius Walker isn't the answer. Stewart would be a great steal for the Texans here. 19. Philadelphia Eagles - Kenny Phillips S, Miami - Even with the signing of Asante Samuel, they still need someone to put next to Brian Dawkins. 20. Tampa Bay Bucs - Desean Jackson WR, Cal - I think it's pretty much obvious this pick will be used on a WR. The question is which one. I think Tampa looks at the speedy, game changing Desean Jackson and use his return ability to their advantage, something that has been missing in Tampa for a long time. 21. Washington Redskins - Malcolm Kelly WR, Oklahoma - I can look Washington going for a DE here, but they still need to add a possession WR like Malcolm Kelly. They have Moss and Randle El, and Kelly would be the big WR. My other pick for the Skins would be Quentin Groves. 22. Dallas Cowboys - Aquib Talib CB, Kansas - One of Dallas' glaring needs is CB. They lost Jaque Reeves to FA and Terrence Newman can't cover everyone. Good pick with Talib here. 23. Pittsburgh Steelers - Brenden Albert OG, Virginia - This is probably one of the most unanimous picks in every mock draft. After losing Faneca to FA, the Steelers need a guard. Brandon Albert fits the bill perfectly. 24. Tennessee Titans - Limas Sweed WR, Texas - How many people have to say the Titans need a WR before they actually draft one in the 1st round? Sweed falls right into their laps and have no choice but to draft him. My other choice is Jerod Mayo. 25. Seattle Seahawks - Devin Thomas WR, Michigan St. - Not too many needs for the Seahawks. Why not add another WR to the mix? They could go TE here, but why not address it in the 2nd round. 26. Jacksonville Jaguars - Kentwan Balmer DT, UNC - With the exiting of Marcus Stroud and Bobby McCray, they need a DL. The question is, which one? I believe they could go for Calais Campbell here, but take Balmer because after Balmer, the DT talent really drops off. 27. San Diego Chargers - Godsher Cherilus OT, BC - San Diego is another team with no really glaring needs except for CB. San Diego always seems to toss a curveball of what everyone expects them to do. Godser Cherilus would shore up the OL after losing Shane Olivea. 28. Dallas Cowboys - Felix Jones RB, Arkansas - With the loss of Julius Jones and the pick of Aquib Talib 6 picks ago, they add speedy Felix Jones to the RB mix. 29. San Francisco 49ers - Quentin Groves DE, Auburn - While they did sign Justin Smith, they could still use a DE on the other side. Groves would add to the already nice pass rush of Smith and Manny Lawson. 30. Green Bay Packers - Reggie Smith CB, Oklahoma - The Pack will groom this kid to play either safety or CB. My other choice here is Brandon Flowers. 31. New England Patriots - Pick Forfeited 32. New York Giants - Jerod Mayo LB, Tennessee - After losing Kawika Mitchell, Reggie Torbor, and Gibril Wilson, they have some holes to fill. Mayo brings the combo of speed and athleticism. He is an absolute tackling machine. He's a great add to the Giants' LB core. I actually did this mock myself....no copy and glue from other sites.

The right... 1591 words | view cover So who might be pizazz choices for this year's contenders? McCain might turn to his longtime hero Colin Powell, the former Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. =========================================== One of the stranger ironies the Constitution has bestowed on American politics is this: some 50 million people just finished choosing the parties' two nominees in a grueling, yearlong primary campaign that cost millions of dollars and captivated the world. But when it comes to picking vice-presidential nominees, only two people on the planet receive a vote: John McCain and Barack Obama. Between an explosion of democracy in the spring and an even bigger explosion of self-determination in the fall is a brief interlude of, well, something that Vladimir Putin could probably live with. McCain: Frail with the Far Right John McCain emerged from Super Tuesday the undisputed heavyweight in the battle for the Republican pr... Everyone knows that the main qualification for the vice presidency is being ready, at a moment's notice, to step into the most powerful job in the world. But what qualifies you to do the job and what qualifies you to receive the job may involve two completely different calculations. Both McCain and Obama have their selection committees already at work scouring candidates' financial and personal backgrounds, voting records and public statements. In a sudden setback that could slow the Democratic nominee's search, Obama lost his top Veep hunter, Jim Johnson, after the former Fannie Mae executive came below scrutiny for accepting preferential mortgages from a lender linked to the foreclosure crisis. Both camps will finish their work by early August, if not sooner. When they do, the choice of Vice President should tell us something — maybe a lot — about how McCain and Obama think and how they could run the government. There are a lot of ways to pick a Vice President, and each comes with risks. Here are five of the most reliable: 1. Play to Your Strength Perhaps the fastest way to send a message about who you are is to pick someone who appears to be ... just like you. In 1992, Bill Clinton picked another Southern baby boomer with a moderate record and a full head of hair. Then Clinton, Al Gore and their wives took a bus trip that looked like a rolling scene from The Big Chill. Picking Gore reinforced Clinton's claim to be part of a new generation of Democratic pols, liberated from the sleepy (and losing) politics of the past. If McCain were to take a similar approach, he might pick a No. 2 who has strong national-security credentials or another maverick who defies party labels — perhaps someone like independent Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman. By this standard, Obama might opt for a partner who is young and charismatic and also breaks a historic barrier of race or gender — perhaps Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius — or one who transcends partisan politics, like Republican Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska. 2. Look at the Map An old-fashioned road atlas is a good Michelin guide for three-star running mates. The right choice can add balance to a nominee whose roots may seem a tad too effete to go over well in the heartland — or add some coastal glitz to a rural candidate's prairie-flat steadiness. As it happens, the last two candidates to make their picks with geography clearly in mind — John Kennedy in 1960 and Michael Dukakis in 1988 — were both from Massachusetts. And they both picked Texas Senators — Lyndon Johnson and Lloyd Bentsen — for the second spot on their ticket. More narrowly, the map can help a nominee make a play for a state that is crucial in November, though that is never a sure bet. Kennedy, with Johnson as his running mate, squeezed by Nixon to win Texas with a margin of merely 46,000 votes, in what turned out to be one of the closest elections in American history. But Dukakis got swamped in the Lone Star State, where Bentsen's considerable popularity was no match for the thrill of having another Texan, George H.W. Bush, in the Oval Office. This year, given the closeness of the race and the importance of winning a few battleground states, McCain and Obama will keep at least one eye on the Electoral College map right through November. That means Obama will be considering choices like Ohio governor Ted Strickland (though Strickland says he would turn down the offer) or one of three possibilities from Virginia — Governor Tim Kaine, former governor Mark Warner or Senator Jim Webb. Or perhaps a Westerner like Montana governor Brian Schweitzer. McCain might receive an Electoral College boost by picking Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty, Pennsylvania's ex-governor Tom Ridge or former rival Mitt Romney, who has family roots in pivotal Michigan. 3. Shore Up Your Weak Side On the other hand, the nominee might need a partner who compensates for his vulnerabilities or perceived weaknesses. That was plainly what George W. Bush had in mind in 2000 when he picked Dick Cheney, a seasoned Washington insider with a long foreign policy résumé (who also happened to be heading up Bush's vice-presidential-selection process). And Gore knew that in picking Lieberman, who had been one of Bill Clinton's harshest Democratic critics during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, he was buying some distance from the incumbent Commander in Chief. In McCain's case, any doubts that voters have about electing a 72-year-old President might be allayed if he tapped someone far younger. And it wouldn't hurt, in a year when gasoline prices and financial jitters have moved past the Iraq war to the top of voter concerns, to look for a sidekick who is more comfortable than McCain is with economic policy. It may well turn out to be someone about whom the conservative base, which is a little leery of McCain, is more enthusiastic. Some possibilities the two might want to consider as hedges against their shortcomings: McCain could pick Romney or Pawlenty, both of whom have executive experience and relative youth, or perhaps an economic-policy expert like former Ohio Congressman Rob Portman, who served as both budget chief and trade representative for Bush. Obama, however, might want to address concerns about his youth and inexperience by picking a running mate who is older and has strong national-security credentials. He could turn to seasoned, silver-haired foreign policy experts like Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman Joe Biden or former Senate Armed Services chairman Sam Nunn. Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell or former South Dakota Senator Tom Daschle would add some experience as well. 4. Hug Your Rival Even after a long, difficult primary battle (and sometimes because of it), the ultimate winner almost always has to consider bringing the loser aboard the ticket. That's what Ronald Reagan did when he picked George H.W. Bush in 1980 and how John Kerry came to pick John Edwards in 2004. Sometimes party unity simply demands it. "We ended up with the obvious choice," says adviser Bob Shrum of Kerry's decision to tap Edwards. "People in the party overwhelmingly wanted him." Then again, a former adversary can have extra baggage. For one thing, there will be lingering tensions and suspicions that former rivals still harbor ambitions of their possess. The other party is certain to dredge up every damaging sound bite — "Voodoo economics!" — that your former rival hurled in your direction back in February. These worries are usually overcome. Already it's difficult to miss the steady thaw in McCain's once frosty relationship with Romney as the former Massachusetts governor throws himself — and his formidable fund-raising operation — into campaigning for the man who beat him. And Hillary Clinton's supporters — starting with her husband — are letting it be known that they expect Obama to give her serious consideration. 5. Hire Some Pizazz Some nominees find themselves in need of excitement. That explains why Walter Mondale tapped Geraldine Ferraro, the first lady on a national ticket, in 1984. "This is an exciting choice," he said at the time. Within weeks, Mondale did not look it that way. Given their difficult history of tangling over just about everything, hardly anyone would have expected Bob Dole to pick Jack Kemp as his running mate in 1996 — least of every Kemp. As little as three weeks before he was selected, recalls Dole's campaign manager, Scott Reed, Kemp was grumbling in GOP circles that he hadn't been given a speaking spot at the party's convention. So why did Dole pick him? "We were going for oxygen, heat and energy," Reed says. "We went through the traditional list, and we just weren't glad with what we were coming up with." Kemp later turned out to be far more complicated a partner than Dole or Reed had imagined. So who might be pizazz choices for this year's contenders? McCain might turn to his longtime hero Colin Powell, the former Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Excitement is hardly what Obama needs, but he could pick a lady, such as Sebelius or Arizona governor Janet Napolitano, who might force McCain to spend more time in his otherwise safe home state. But if you venture too far out of the box, voters will scratch their heads sooner or later — and eventually you might too. George H.W. Bush seems to have entered his Veep wish list into one of those dating computers back in 1988. That year he stunned nearly every his advisers when he tapped someone whose Midwestern roots were an antidote to his privileged Kennebunkport background, who was young to his old, who could balance his moderation with a dose of conservatism, and came up with Dan Quayle. The ticket beat the Democrats that fall, but by 1992 even Bush was trying to nudge him off the ticket. The ploy failed. Which is a reminder that however you pick a running mate, another rule will always apply: difficult as it is to find a good one, it is sometimes harder to receive rid of a bad one.

"America's needy don't really know what it is to be needy" or "Go receive a job and cease trying to leech off of me" There's no feeling FOR the "wrong" of that? Why not ? Rather.. there's the anger of being shown what's really going on in your backyards ? How thoughtless and Petty so many of these comments... Many in this region of Appalachia echo this story. Jobs are almost non-existent, and most people live off government welfare checks to receive by. As these people attempt to scrape by with what little money they have and no wish of jobs, their health takes a back seat to surviving. Throughout this poverty-stricken region of Appalachia the drinking water is suspect, kids simply deal with lice infestations in their hair, animals and creeks carry disease to their homes, and people are forced to live with varying degrees of congenital issues caused by the coal and strip mining in the area. When a culture of alcoholism and substance abuse is added to the mix, the results are demoralizing, to say the least.

Resolved Question: Is sex with a partner other than your spouse adultery if a divorce has already been filed?
In the state of Kansas it takes 60 days for an uncontested divorce. In the meantime I've heard that if the court finds out you are still having sex with your spouse they will automatically annul the divorce process. I was also wondering if it is adultery to have sex with another partner during this time. Please only answer if you know what you are talking about. (please no answering just to answer.)

Along with selling books and coffee we are planning on selling knickknacks and crafty type stuff. We would like the name to reflect that a mom and daughter are in business together. Its a tiny college town in Kansas. We'd really like to go heavy on the whole family thing. Resolved Question: Is this discrimination against sexual orientation or am I stuck with the decision?
My partner and I are purchasing a home in Kansas. Well, we are hoping to purchase a home in Kansas. We are in the last few weeks of our purchase contract and my realtor advised me that the Homeowner's Association President wanted me to call her. I gladly called the lady and she specifically asked about our sexual orientation. I told her and the conversation became a little more hostile. She told me they never have had this problem before and that she would have to meet with the local residents to approve of our home purchase. Will they have the right to refuse our home purchase based upon our sexual orientation? To date, there has been no families denied the right to purchase a home at this private lake. Do I have a leg to stand on if they deny my home purchase?

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A federal indictment in Kansas charges a Mexican man with transporting illegal immigrants, including kids as young as 2 years old who were traveling alone. Resolved Question: Should Police Be Arresting People For Asking For Directions?
BALTIMORE -- Baltimore City police arrested a Virginia couple over the weekend after they asked an officer for directions. WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team reporter David Collins said Joshua Kelly and Llara Brook, of Chantilly, Va., got lost leaving an Orioles game on Saturday. Collins reported a city officer arrested them for trespassing on a public road while they were asking for directions . "In jail for eight hours -- sleeping on a concrete floor next to a toilet," Kelly said. "It was a nightmare," Brook said. "I was in there thinking I was just dreaming and waiting to wake up." Collins reported it was a nightmare ending to a nearly perfect day. He said the couple went to a company picnic and watched the Orioles beat Kansas City. It was their first trip to Camden Yards and asked two people for directions to Interstate 95 South when they left. Collins said somehow they ended up in the Cherry Hill section of south Baltimore. Hopelessly lost, relief melted away concerns after they spotted a police vehicle. "I said, 'Thank goodness, could you please receive us to 95?" Kelly said. "The first thing that she said to us was no -- you just ran that cease sign, tug over," Brook said. "It wasn't a big deal. We'll pay the cease sign violation, but can we have directions?" "What she said was 'You found your possess way in here, you can find your possess way out.'" Kelly said. Collins said the couple spotted another police vehicle and flagged that officer down for directions. But Officer Natalie Preston, a six-year veteran of the force, intervened. "That really threw us for a loop when she stepped in between our cars," Kelly said. "(She) said my partner is not going to step in front of me and tell you directions if I'm not." Collins reported the circumstances got worse. Kelly pulled 40 feet forward parking next to a curb and put his flashers on while Brook was on the phone to her dad hoping he could help her with directions. Both her parents are police officers in the Harrisburg, Pa., area. "(Brook's dad) was in the middle of giving us directions when the officer screeched up behind us and got out of the car and asked me to step out. I obeyed," Kelly said. "I obeyed everything -- stepped out of the car, put my hands behind my back, and the next thing I know, I was getting arrested for trespassing." "By this time, I was completely in tears," Brook said. "I said, 'Ma'am, you know, we just need your help. We are not trying to cause you any trouble. I'm not leaving him here.' What she did was walk over to my side of the car and said, 'Ok, we are taking you downtown, too.'" Collins said the couple was released from jail without being charged with anything. Brook is now concerned the arrest may complicate a criminal background check she's going through in her job as a child care worker. Collins said police left Kelly's car unlocked and the windows down at the impound lot. He reported a cell phone charger, pair of sunglasses and 20 CDs were stolen. Baltimore City police said they are looking into the incident.

Resolved Question: NFL MOCK DRAFT: And with the 5th pick in the draft the Kansas City Chiefs Select......?????
1 Miami - Chris Long DE 2 St Louis - Jake Long OT 3 Atlanta - Glenn Dorsey DT 4 Oakland - Darren McFadden RB 5 Kansas City Chiefs - ontheclock Please make a pick base on the these 4 prior picks. If you need more info on why these players were picked check my profile for past question on mock draft. Ok you be Carl Peterson(Chief's GM) and work your draft room. Who or what do the Chiefs do with their Pick. Their Biggest need is Offensive Line but with Jake Long off the board, do they Reach for someone like Ryan Clady, go best available and take Gholston even though end is not a need, Defensive Tackle is a possibility with Sedrick Ellis. Or maybe Matt Ryan, afterall how much faith could the Chiefs have in Brodie Croyle? Trade Down is a good possibility too, possible trade partners could be New England looking to jump the jets to receive Gholston, or maybe the bengals looking for Sedrick Ellis, while the chiefs receive value by moving back and can take that tackle at a better slot. Please dont Pick Players that have already been picked, Jake long went #2 to the Rams. So he is not avialable. I dont understand why people are so obsessed with Jake Long going #2. He is the best tackle on the board and any team looking for a tackle like the rams, dolphins, Atlanta are going to be looking difficult at him. If the rams dont take Jake you can bet the farm Atlanta will take him. watch and look there is no way Jake Long last any longer than the 3rd pick.

Also, do you think I will be able to make a college cheer squad with the skills I have now? Also any other info about college cheer would be great! Thanks for every the help!

Voting Question: Investors, Where to find ?
Is it premature to seek an investor prior to the patent stage ? Although I have mailed and dated this idea 2 years ago and done a preliminary patent search there seems to be nothing of this nature in existance..however I do not feel safe without a patent and do not have the resources to follow up.. If one possesses a revolutionary idea with an application to keyboards (computer, game machines, cell phones, etc) where would one find an equal partner to take thru the patent process and following stages ? I have found an "new products" company in Kansas that evaluated the idea and sent me a very positive report that passed with high marks, their criteria for new products, however unfortunately they require funds to persue it and possibly secure a patent before they will enter into it as a partner on licensing, and possible marketing.. Any answers are most welcomed.. Thanks in advance, kim in Seattle

Resolved Question: Does it bother Republicans that the Tea party organizers (corporate) also organized pro-drilling events?
Americans for Prosperity is writing press releases and planning the (Tea Party) events in New Jersey, Arizona, New Hampshire, Missouri, Kansas, and several other states. Americans for Prosperity is run by Tim Phillips, who was Ralph Reed’s former partner in the lobbying firm Century Strategies. The group is funded by Koch family foundations — a family whose wealth is derived from the oil industry. Indeed Americans for Prosperity has coordinated pro-drilling ‘grassroots‘ events around the country. http://wonkroom.thinkprogress.org/2008/10/14/afp-astroturf/ http://thinkprogress.org/2009/04/09/lobbyists-planning-teaparties/ It is so plainly obvious that these events are organized by wealthy interests....I don't even need to point it out! At first I thought the drilling movement was just plain ridiculous and obviously funded and organized by groups who represent the oil industries and now that I look their at it again trying to create rage against the expiration of tax cuts on the top 5%! I mean arrive on, can't you Republicans look your being used as pawns in a wealthy man's game of trying to manipulate the public for their possess interests?? I have no problem with the oil industry conducting their business to make a profit, BUT I do have a problem with them trying to create fake outrage among gullible people so they can drill for what little oil we have left in this country. Don't you hate being used as a pawn to further the corporate interests of others? I know it would piss me off. You guys really think drilling for 3% of the oil left to feed the appetite of a country that consumes 25% of worlds oil resources is a grand idea?? Good luck! The oil companies took advantage of a energy crisis to push their agenda to drill for whatever oil they could receive from environmentally sensitive areas.

Resolved Question: Does it bother Republicans that the chief organizer of the "Tea Party" protests are Corporate lobbyists?
Despite these attempts to make the “movement” appear organic, the principle organizers of the local events are actually the lobbyist-run think tanks Americans for Prosperity and Freedom Works. The two groups are heavily staffed and well funded, and are providing every the logistical and public relations work necessary for planning coast-to-coast protests: – Freedom Works staffers coordinate conference calls among protesters, contacting conservative activists to give them “sign ideas, sample press releases, and a map of events around the country.” – Freedom Works staffers apparently moved to “take over” the planning of local events in Florida. – Freedom Works provides how-to guides for delivering a “clear message” to the public and media. – Freedom Works has several domain addresses — some of them made to look like they were set up by amateurs — to promote the protests. – Americans for Prosperity is writing press releases and planning the events in New Jersey, Arizona, New Hampshire, Missouri, Kansas, and several other states. This type of corporate ‘astroturfing‘ is nothing new to either organization. While working to promote Social Security privatization, Freedom Works was caught planting one of its operatives as a “single mom” to ask questions to President Bush in a town hall on the subject. Last year, the Wall road Journal exposed Freedom Works for similarly building “amateur-looking” websites to promote the lobbying interests of Dick Armey, the former Republican Majority Leader who now leads Freedom Works and is a lobbyist for the firm DLA Piper. This afternoon, former Republican home Speaker Newt Gingrich, leader of the corporate-funded American Solutions for Winning the Futures (ASWF), blasted an e-mail to his supporters with a reminder to attend the protests, along with a "Toolkit" of talking points. Gingrich's ASWF is funded by polluters and helped orchestrate the "Drill Here, Drill Now" campaign last summer. ASWF has been an official "partner" in the tea party effort since at least March. http://thinkprogress.org/ A direct link to the article: http://thinkprogress.org/2009/04/09/lobbyists-planning-teaparties/

Resolved Question: If states across America are having problems issuing tax refunds how can we afford to pay for amnesty?
Further do the activists for illegals have any concern about states across the country are going broke but still they want America to provide free college educations to illegals even though we do not have the money to do it ? Would activists for illegals be willing to sponsor a student with their possess money and guarantee the college payment for illegals to attend a major college or do they prefer that the taxpayers pay for every of this ?.......This year, more Americans and businesses may be asking: Where's my tax refund? That's because cash-strapped states such as North Carolina, Alabama and Hawaii have been forced to slow down issuing income tax refunds to individuals and businesses because of a lack of funds in their budget. Kansas has hinted that a delay might be possible, and processing paper refunds in Iowa has slowed because the state doesn't haven't enough employees to receive them processed faster. Another state, New York, is still considering whether they'll follow the likes of Hawaii and delay refund payments. "States typically do this when they are tight and they don't have a budget in place," said Karla Dennis, CEO of Cohesive, a nationwide tax preparation firm. Things are dire at many states: forty-one states are expected to have mid-year budget gaps totaling $37.7 billion, according to the middle on Budget and Policy Priorities. Delaying the refund, Dennis says, "gives the state funds to work with in the interim to fill a gap in their revenues." Hawaii's Department of Taxation announced last month that it will delay income tax refunds until July 1, when processing and payments will resume on a "first-in-first-out basis," according to a news release. The state is delaying the funds to alleviate a $721 million revenue shortfall for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010. below Hawaiian law, processing refunds must be done 90 days after the April 20 due day (or later if a return is filed after the due date). After that, the actual payment must be made within 45 days or interest has to be paid on the refund. Most states have similar laws about when interest kicks in, but they differ from state to state, said Scott Clark a tax attorney and partner at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/CashStrapped-States-Delay-cnbc-3787752102.html?x=0&.v=1

Resolved Question: If I get pregnant in Kansas...?
I'm 17, trying my a$$ off to receive out of the home. I have a job, I go to school, and I'm going to doing my trade school next year. I recently ran away, but came back realizing what i did would receive too many people in trouble and it wasn't worth it, I know it was a stupid move. Now that I've arrive home, I have to work with SRS and I have a social worker, the whole nine yards. They are trying to 'fix' mine and my fathers relationship, but I know its not going to work. I know I only have one year left in my fathers home, but I honestly can't be here any longer. My case worker told me that there was a next to zero chance of me being emancipated, and I doubt that they will grant me independent living. Because I'm not in any physical danger, and they don't believe that I go through an extreme amount of verbal and mental abuse, I can't be put in a foster home. I have a job, and a girl pal that I plan on moving in with once I'm out of the home, and we are fully capable of financially supporting me, though I more than likely wouldn't be able to financially support myself. Basically, I'm finding it very difficult to find a way out of my home. I refuse to say my dad hits me, I don't want him in jail. I also am not going to run away again. I'm looking for legal ways out of the home. Recently a pal of mine told me that since I was 17, if I got pregnant, my dad would not be able to say I couldn't move out. I'm very skeptical, but I was wondering if anyone else had ever heard of this before. I have wanted a child for a very long time, but haven't had a partner like I do now, nor will my dad except it. If this is true, I would like to know, because we do have a man willing to receive me pregnant for the cause. Also, if you have any other suggestions, please help me out! =] Thank you!! Ok, I'm getting answers saying its the dumbest mistake of my life, blah blah blah, from dumb asses who can't even spell. I don't want to hear it. I have a fiance, and a job that could easily become full time once I move out of his home. I don't think that it would be the worst mistake of my life to have a child at 17, and I wouldn't be a single mom. I was simply asking a question and every I receive is rude, ignorant replies from people who didn't even think about anything I said but 'I'm thinking about getting pregnant and I'm 17.' That was absolutely ridiculous. Thank you for the one person who actually answered my question, by the way. The main thing I was looking for was answers to the question 'Does getting pregnant allow me to move from my fathers home?' You guys are really a piece of work.

I know of Tootsie's and Missie B's and a couple other gay bars, but they require attendants to be 21... I really want some place to go where I'm not the oldest person there. If you know of anyplace thats 18 and up please let me know... I'm also looking for Kansas City gay chat sites if you know any good ones too...

Resolved Question: im getting a doberman?
I've had a few dogs, mutts from the pound, and they've been fun, but I want a dobie, pure-bred of course. Here's what I want to know. They say they're inside dogs, but take them outside to play exercise, and frankly I need a jogging partner. I have an apartment, but if I'm not there my brother is. We live in kansas, and during the winter it gets pretty icy. i know the doberman doesn't do well in the icy, but could you receive a sweatshirt a dog and take him running in it for 25-30 minutes during the winter?

Resolved Question: How common is it to bring a same-sex partner to prom?
I graduated high school in 1998 in central Kansas & it was pretty much unheard of to bring a same-sex date to prom. How is it viewed these days where you live? To clarify, I mean bringing a same-sex partner to prom as a romantic date, not two friends of the same gender going together.

Resolved Question: Romance or Friendship....?
Last Sept. I met this guy, his name is Jimmie. He lives in IL and I live in OK. But I lived in Kansas when we met. Anyway, we met on this online game called Second Life, you have a partner on there, nice of like RL marriage. We played the game together, chatted, texted and talked on the phone (for 6 months) and exchanged pics before finally deciding to meet in person in April of 2006. I went to Chicago, a 1000 mile - 14 hour bus ride, and met him. He was everything I thought he would be. I stayed a week before having to leave. The problem is, a month b4 we met, he told me that he loved me. I had told him 3 months before. Then, when I returned to Oklahoma, he said he wasn't in adore with me. But he gets mad when I date other guys and makes me feel guilty. Yet he texts me about girls he's met even though I've asked him to cease. Can someone please tell me what's going on?? Does he care for me or does he just not wnt me with any other guys? I'm confused and hurt by his behavior.

ASWF has been an official "partner" in the tea party effort since at least March. http://thinkprogress.org/2009/04/09/lobbyists-planning-teaparties/ At least the protests on the left don't need to be heavily promoted on tv, lol. People just show up because their mad. By the way....where the heck were these Tea protests when President Bush was doubling our national debt???

Resolved Question: Another example on why Bud Selig is a joke? Details inside->?
I was just reading this article from 1997. Bud Selig actually thought of doing this crazy move. Here is some of the article as i will copy & glue the parts that matter. Give me your thoughts after reading-> Baseball's Radical Realignment Plan Losing Steam The Yankees and the Mets apparently won't play in the same league after every. Baseball's radical realignment plan, which would have New York's teams playing each other 16 times a season in the same division, has lost momentum, three people familiar with the deliberations said yesterday. Instead, realignment strategists have turned to a series of less severe scenarios in an effort to forge a format that can win approval for next season. The radical plan isn't dead, but it's in critical condition because seven National League teams, half the league, have expressed opposition to it for a variety of reasons. below radical realignment, which would have obliterated the National and American leagues as they have been known for 97 years, the Mets and the Yankees would be in the same division. Chicago's two teams, the Cubs and the White Sox, would be in the same division of the other league. Instead of having two seven-team divisions in the American League and two eight-team divisions in the National, they said, the group brainstorming realignment ideas is considering three divisions in the American League, two each with five teams and one with four, and four divisions of four teams each in the National League. below that format, in the National League, the four division champions would compete for the pennant and in the American League the three division winners and the second-place team with the best record, a wild-card team, would play in the post-season. Bud Selig, the acting commissioner, and John Harrington, chairman of the realignment committee, who favor the radical plan, haven't given up on it, but they are faced with enough opposition to know they have to consider other ideas. In one scenario, Kansas City and Texas would move to the National League and the expansion Arizona Diamondbacks to the American. However, Jerry Colangelo, the Diamondbacks' managing partner, has said the team won't agree to a move to the American League. The entire article is in this link if you like to check it out.-> http://www.nytimes.com/1997/08/22/sports/baseball-s-radical-realignment-plan-losing-steam.html?pagewanted=1
